002 - Still Killua-less

The ears and tail are gone...they were fun while they lasted. I never got to show Killua though...I wonder where he could be? I've searched all over the island, it seems...maybe I should go to one of the others I've heard about. It couldn't be that far to swim, could it? Or I could build a raft! That would be fun.

Today, me an' Duo discovered we're not bad at catching lobsters. Well, Duo's had the lobster traps out for awhile, but we finally got a couple of 'em. I might keep one for a pet. We're still trying to figure out how to cook them, but we'll get it soon enough I guess. I've never had lobster but I've heard it's some sorta delicacy, so I guess it's good that we caught 'em. If anyone is interested in trading, I guess we could do that too.

Hey, Kazuma, wanna come over for dinner? I'm gonna make an apron out of palm branches and spin around the campsite and pretend to be Little Suzy Homemaker, and maybe I won't start a forest fire. Cooking lobster is going to be an adventure.

Everyone is in such a fighting mood lately. It's funny when you people think you're just soooo amazing. You would never stand a chance against Zero. *laughs* How could we possibly be defeated by a bunch of nameless people??

These seagulls are annoying. I hit one with a coconut the other day so it fell and I caught it. Then I nailed it's feet down so it couldn't fly away. It squawked soooooo nicely when I pulled all it's feathers off one by one! Seagulls look so silly when they have no feathers left! ^^

Everyone is breaking into song on the island again. Though the tone is decisively more cheerful than last time. These are Disney children's musicals, I believe, since they used to make us watch it in school O.O

Yagami-kun, want to play Go? O.O It's a much better game of strategy than chess, in my opinion. I welcome any other opponents as well. I still have the board from when much of the inhabitants turned into children.

Strangely enough, I do not seem to be affected ... O.O!! I will consider myself fortunate for having a horrible singing voice. I am consistently 1 octave lower than I should be O.O

I will gather as much information as possible regarding how much Death Note and other items that Kira may have on him. I am sure that at the very least, he will be carrying a small piece with him at all times, since there was a bit of note missing when we caught Higuchi. I will provide a good defensive system for the two of you to launch your offensive maneuvers, whenever that time comes. Mello-kun, Near-kun, you two together can gather all the evidence necessary and catch Kira in the act O.O Yes. I am very sure of it.

I am planning to monitor Yagami-kun 24 hours a day, considering I have my handcuffs and will use them as necessary. However, this would also mean that my movements would also be monitored as well. I may not have as much time to talk with the two of you, but I trust that the both of you will be safe.

Hm.  I enjoyed our matches the other night, Near and Mello.  I would enjoy playing against you again sometime. 

I have also decided to make use of all of the Duel Disks that survived the explosion of my blimp.  So, does anyone here know how to play Duel Monsters?  Perhaps we will have a small tournament if there are enough people involved... Near and Mello, I think you could learn adequately in a few weeks to take part.

Of course, perhaps I will not be here in a few weeks.  That would be vastly preferable.

I cannot believe how good those two were at chess.  I haven't lost to anyone at chess in... as long as I can recall.  Probably never.  Of course, Mello did say that Near never lost either...  I am rusty.  I haven't played against a real opponent since that man.  Only Mokuba, which is more about teaching than anything.

I will recall my strategies and practice.  I would like to beat both of them before I leave this island, though that will be decidedly difficult.  At least they had no interest in lecturing me about why I lost, unlike some other individuals.
