Luck and risk and gambling-- all necessary endeavors for magic. And success in general.

It's just a comparison. The moves you make are your explanations, and mine are the counters to that. How I weave my truth and how you weave yours are how we can effectively read each other. It's just how well either of us can accomplish that that's up in the air.
