You can do better than that, can't you Battler? [And yes, it did sound exactly like her. Vocally. Inflection could use some work, but that's just from how he talks, not the device.]

I'm aware. [And striaghtens the bowtie.] Kaitou Kid can cause a lot of confusion. He can sound like anyone without a device. Not just similar, but exactly like them.

With what he can cause, it's not hard to make the next leap to what one could do with a phone and ill intent.

Ahhh... well, even from an Anti-Fantasy perspective, that's not unheard of. But it's extremely rare.

So I take it... not too many people have that ability in your world, be it by natural talent or gadgets?

It's not...common.

I know Kaitou Kid can do any voice he wants. I've listened to him and he can even perfectly match a voice of someone I know very well. He probably has perfect pitch or I'd notice.

Vermouth might be able to do it to at least an extent. I never got to study her disguise to see if there was a device to mimic the voice for her, but she's a master of disguise, so she probably can.

I've just seen Kid switch between voices without needing to do anything, but talk. And he is the guy with the unnaturally good luck.

Ahhh... so if he's been able to do this with you for a long time, then I really do have a strong competitor when it comes to making you believe in magic. [ cackle! ] How fun. But like I said, I won't be outdone.

I've only met him a handful of times. I don't really have the resources to pursue him and I'm usually busy with other cases, but...

I do have to admit, if there was a person who could get me to believe in magic, he'd be the guy.

It's a bit of both. Kid's made annoyance into an art form, so to think you probably can reach his level of frustration is a weird compliment.

If it's just an annoyance to you detective-types, I can live with it.
