‘scuse me, but it seems that I kinda lost the beehive I was experimenting on. You see, I tripped and it went flying through that window… If you find a suspiciously angry sounding skep anywhere, don’t try and remove its plug. Just call me or try to kill it without making it open.
((What’s inside the beehive? Lots of bees enhanced with demonic cells, meaning that they’re about the size of hornets, regenerate for a limited amount of kills and don’t die after stinging somebody.))

It's a pleasure to meet you, Aion-san. [DOES NOT SEEM CONCERNED WITH THAT TITLE. Is thinking that might be why she's getting mixed signals from the 'what' of you.]

[Have a smile.] So you are the rumored goddess that has taken charge of the inn? I was wondering when our paths would come to cross.
no subject
That is correct. Do you usually come by the inn?
no subject
Not really. I had another place where I stayed, but it seems like I'm going move soon.
no subject
Is that so? Feel free to come back! I have actually been thinking about adding some more rooms, so there should be plenty of rooms soon.
no subject
Thanks, but no thanks, I fear. I don't do well in the company of certain individuals. I'd just hate to lose my temper over some small matter and end up bothering everyone. [Like say, burning the whole place down because he couldn't stand living under the same roof as a goddess.]
no subject
[Bliiiinks.] Really? Everyone has been so kind though. [IT'S LIKE SHE'S TOTALLY UNAWARE IT COULD BE HER.]
no subject
[Looong stare.] Really.
no subject
Oh dear. I hope you can work things out with them in the future, even if you won't be staying there. [TOTALLY not getting it.]
no subject
I doubt it. [Good thing that his pokerface is really good.]
no subject
That's no way to think. If you don't believe it can happen, it never will, so you should always give everything a chance. [Might not work so well if she wasn't intentionally oblivious to this sort of thing.]
no subject
Maybe. I still prefer to stay realistic and true to myself. [Aw, don't say that. It was good enough to fool his siblings and bffs for decades.]
no subject
Why wouldn't you be true to yourself? [She cheats with extra senses.]
no subject
There are some things that do not have a chance. [His voice says that he's very ...'final' about it.]
no subject
.... [And that's a sad look.] Did something truly grave happen between you and them?
no subject
.... [Bursting out laughing.] Haha, sorry~ But you're the first who managed to say something like that to me and keep a straight face.
no subject
[Looks a bit startled.] ...I'm not sure I understand, Aion-san.
no subject
Ah, it's nothing, nothing. And no, nothing truly grave happened between us. [Yet.]
no subject
Then why couldn't you gt along?
no subject
Different opinions and beliefs.
no subject
...that's all? Everyone has different opinions and beliefs. People don't have to think the same way to get along.
no subject
They don't. But sometimes... It's best to avoid stressing things more than necessary, isn't it? Why provoke people and make them unhappy if it can be just as easily avoided?
no subject
While it does that, it also has a high price. Not only do you bypass the chance to make a new friendship, and make it harder to deal with other opinions when you have to, the chance to learn and grow disappears for both parties.

One can't force happiness. It wouldn't be happiness then.
But to learn about the world, people have to experience it. And the people and the different views are a part of that. If you're really happy without that, then I suppose it's fine.
It just seems it'd be a bit sad, to miss some of the wonderful things a person can't see from standing in one place.
