(no subject)

‘scuse me, but it seems that I kinda lost the beehive I was experimenting on. You see, I tripped and it went flying through that window… If you find a suspiciously angry sounding skep anywhere, don’t try and remove its plug. Just call me or try to kill it without making it open.

((What’s inside the beehive? Lots of bees enhanced with demonic cells, meaning that they’re about the size of hornets, regenerate for a limited amount of kills and don’t die after stinging somebody.))

[...yeah, probably not.]

While it does that, it also has a high price. Not only do you bypass the chance to make a new friendship, and make it harder to deal with other opinions when you have to, the chance to learn and grow disappears for both parties.

Force people...?

One can't force happiness. It wouldn't be happiness then.

But to learn about the world, people have to experience it. And the people and the different views are a part of that. If you're really happy without that, then I suppose it's fine.

It just seems it'd be a bit sad, to miss some of the wonderful things a person can't see from standing in one place.

[Honestly she believes it cause she does it. A lot.]

Well, if you're certain...

But might I ask, what those opinions are? They must be very important to you.

[identity profile] windsofpresent.livejournal.com 2010-10-14 09:30 pm (UTC)(link)
It does seem demons between worlds have very different backgrounds from what I've encountered and read.

[Pauses and tilts her head.] But...is that what you are? You feel similar, but...not.

[identity profile] windsofpresent.livejournal.com 2010-10-15 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
Was I not supposed too?

No, that can't be it. The stories are usually inaccurate for demons.

[identity profile] windsofpresent.livejournal.com 2010-10-15 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
...does that mean you can't sense me? [Definitely looks curious.] Ir is it you're trying to hide it and I saw through it?

Usually there's at least a similar feeling. But this level of difference...maybe if you're a mixed heritage...? Is that possible?

[identity profile] windsofpresent.livejournal.com 2010-10-15 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose it would. So you don't have any extra senses?

[Blinks.] ...then I suppose she doesn't leave that place often? That is a difference. The demon leader can always leave her domain if she so chose and even has at least one mixed offspring.

Though some religions do have demons and gods more secluded from each other.

[identity profile] windsofpresent.livejournal.com 2010-10-15 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose that's why you said supposed. I am, of the Norse pantheon. [Smiles. Says it as easily as she would someone talking about their occupation.]

...perhaps that it is? There is definitely an affect the human world leaves on beings. If you don't go there...especially with those levels meaning you don't often...that could be it?

It's not uncommon for demons or gods to do some training on Earth. The power is more manageable, since a part automatically goes to regulating our bodies, so it doesn't become overwhelming as it grows.

...it's hard to be sure how the Island makes it sound. I'm not quite sure what language I'm speaking in now. I am one of the Norns. [But she does nod.] But that's correct. Odin and Sleipnir.

It could potentially be more harmful? I have heard that could happen.

[identity profile] windsofpresent.livejournal.com 2010-10-15 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
It does. The problem is I naturally speak all languages, so I can't be sure how it's coming out in the end. I could be speaking Japanese, Nordice, or something else.

A translation most people understand is Sisters of Fate, like they have in the Greek mythoology.

[Looks worried.] ...I hope the Island can compensate for that. If you start to feel unwell in a way you don't understand, please feel free to come to me for help. Neuro-san may also be good as well. He is a powerful demon as well, so hopefully one of us could find the problem if there is one.

The eye....? Ah, no! We don't have that. I don't usually do a lot of those type of readings anymore. We try not to interfere too much in the recent centuries.

I will certainly try to help.

[identity profile] windsofpresent.livejournal.com 2010-10-17 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
Do they still interfere a lot in your world? [L-looks kind of worried.] Aion-san's style of clothing isn't that old though. If they are at that point...

[Offers a small smile.] I'm always happy to help.
