((Sousuke's stumbled on a laptop which is good for nothing besides playing dating sims, a feat which he fails miserably at.  Come coach him?  Watch him fail harder than you thought possible?  Or maybe take interest in the key he's tied around his neck, who knows. That's because you're supposed to be trying to get the girl to like you. Pushing her away by declining her invitations to go out is just asking for trouble. Why did you even think that was a valid option in this game?

Should she not extend invitations that are relevant to my interests in some manner? I am naturally not going to partake in activities that have no interest to me. When a circumstance seems too dangerous, it is always best to fall back and rethink one's strategy. That is apparently not acceptable here.
