That's cool, so has Ed, off being his usual slightly-reclusive self and blowing things up in his Gilligan-lab to pass the time. Life returns to what passes for normal here, right?

...and then there's the note. Of course your first thought is 'Oh God, another event?' as would be the logical train of thought--

Wait a minute. Wedding invitation? Of the island and--WHAT?! And on top of that you're free to leave for home or wherever you like?]

To signify that outside of Rokkenjima, the witch Beatrice has encountered an individual and allowed him to watch her game, to handle the pieces of the puzzle that make it up.

That while he may not be among the guests during that time, in some way or another, he has made himself a part of the game. That, by the invitation of the Golden Witch herself, she deems him a worthy observer and opponent.

Neither furniture or having the blood of an Ushiromiya, you still have earned the honor of the one winged eagle.

I am no longer Rokkenjima's true Beatrice, not the one Lambdadelta and Bernkastel and Erika remember. I am the one who, in the middle of her game, was kidnapped and had my destiny altered. The proof of this was in the red you made me say-- and us experiencing it firsthand during October. So by that virtue, the role of Beatrice has changed.

As has yours.

No matter what Beatrice I am, though, I do not regret that, even for a moment. Otherwise, you wouldn't bear the eagle.

So wear it proudly.
