[He still thinks most everyone on the island is insane. No, he still doesn't believe in all the magic. And yes, he's still trying to find some way to logically explain everything.

But even detective maniac Edogawa Conan needs a break. Which was why today he was taking a break. At present, he was sitting under a tree with a stack of comic books on top of his jacket laying on the ground.

They were Sherlock Holmes comics. He wanted to see if they were any good since he hadn't gotten the chance to read them back home. For the moment, he seems more than content.

...now, really, he's just asking for someone to bug him.]

It'd explain a lot! Twenty four hours felt like they passed in game when it was just a few hours at home. Considering I almost broke my foot, you can feel pain. It'd even explain how people come back from the dead. Since it's a gaming system, the original intention was never for players to actually die even if they're killed. It'd explain a lot about this place.

And the people who are from-- or say they're from different worlds? If they're just players, they're sure serious about that part.

There's a few possibilities.

One, most of the players really could just be from a mental ward somewhere and we were taken to mess with people connected to us.

Two, they're either hired to be played like that or they're NPCs.

Third...the people operating the Cocoon did something to their minds to make them think that.

That wouldn't explain seeing their memories, though...

Their memories?

Ah, it was an event awhile ago. By making contact with someone, you'd see one of their memories and they'd see one of yours.

...that...that is a very, very worrying thought.

... Yeah, it's probably a good thing you came later!

Just because I came later doesn't mean anything because no matter what then this place has a way of looking into our minds.

Better the place than all the people here. Not that either's a good idea.

At least the people here can't do anything about it. They're stuck here like us so it's possible to fix it...

To get out?

The sooner, the better. Then it'll be possible to take down the people behind this place.

It would be nice if the culprit was an actual person... I'd be sure to thank 'em for their hospitality.

I mean if investigating means getting out more, I'm going with you. Not to mention I've been looking into getting more information on this place for months now.

And I've seen you on cases thinking the culprit is a ghost or something like that.
