That volcano is there, right? And all the hot springs. How do you know a geothermal generator thing isn't hidin' somewhere? With that much power and a bit of magic, you could teleport people from Mars and back.

But the only problem to that is discovering the island's barrier if they do happen to protect these said generators. It is because of the barrier itself limiting us to even escape to begin with.
