Spell 12

[Outside on the beach, there is a young woman dressed in a witch costume, standing over an eerily lit green cauldron with billows of ominous smoke, stirring and chanting...]

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Scale of dragon,tooth of wolf,
Witch's mummy, maw and gulf
Of the ravin'd salt-sea shark,
Root of hemlock digg'd in the dark,
Liver of blaspheming Jew;
Gall of goat; and slips of yew
silver'd in the moon's eclipse;
Nose of Turk, and Tartar's lips;
Finger of birth-strangled babe
Ditch-deliver'd by the drab,-
Make the gruel thick and slab:
Add thereto a tiger's chaudron,
For ingredients of our cauldron.
Double, double toil and trouble,
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Mm! Macbeth is always fun to quote. Anyways, soups on if anyone's up to it!

♥ Happy Halloween! ♥

[ooc: Derp, Sabrina dressed up as a witch haha so creative. Anyways, there is just normal meaty stew in her cauldron and it's pretty much safe... Except it might turn into candy corn after you help yourself to a bowl. *A* There's lots of special Halloween music and scary sound effects thanks to her magic yay]

Forced to enjoy the holidays, then?

[amused]-- D'you know, a disclaimer like that isn't entirely reassuring?

[identity profile] doctorate.livejournal.com 2008-11-01 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
. . . Right, I'll assume that's a no, then.

-- And again. Still! Not entirely reassuring, Miss Spellman.

Well, I'm not insisting so much as I'm stating the relative obvious.

[identity profile] doctorate.livejournal.com 2008-11-01 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
Except in the case when said witch wants me dead, which isn't the case now, yeah? Unless you were attempting to lull me into a false sense of security.

[identity profile] doctorate.livejournal.com 2008-11-01 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
Well, not always -- most of the time, at least.

-- Alright, then, twist my arm, why don't you. I'll take a bowl, if you don't mind.

[yaaaay \o/ ]

Not exactly, no, but I appreciate the 21st century interpretation of in. The only day you can get free candy for looking as silly or as scary as you'd like -- 's certainly something I could enjoy.

[aaand going to take a bite of delicious stew and-- oh look, candy corn] . . . Well, that wasn't what I expected.

[identity profile] doctorate.livejournal.com 2008-11-01 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah? Well, at least that's two of us. [picking out a piece of candy and eating it :3 ]

[identity profile] doctorate.livejournal.com 2008-11-01 07:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Blimey. Well, that certainly would've been something to see. On the bright side, you would've at least had no shortage of sweets to snack on.

[identity profile] doctorate.livejournal.com 2008-11-01 08:15 pm (UTC)(link)
I suppose it could -- unless it decides to actually remain as stew when I took it back to the TARDIS.

[identity profile] doctorate.livejournal.com 2008-11-01 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)
True enough.

I suppose I could take some back, if you could spare some.

Phone booth box? Careful there, that's one of my oldest and best friends you're talking about.
