Stranger things have happened. For instance, all of us winding up on the same island out of the blue. Anything is possible. And if you do get wishes, please wish for electricity.

And I'm sure that the reasons for your lock will be unearthed very shortly. It's reaction has a great deal to do with the shift and alterations in time and space, I'm certain. The various ways that this island defies all normal logic. Think of this island as a cancerous mole on a person's skin, festering there and contained...but at any given time it could burst and leak into the entire world. And that very lock you possess either houses a reaction to that or something else in this place -- all of which have become basically the same thing. It could very well be the key to something much larger.
