PART TWO
[ Okay, so you got out of the mansion. Great, right? Now you can go on home to whatever hut you live in, and...

Uh.
Wow. This is definitely not your island. And the drone of monsters just outside the fence doesn't sound like any dingo you've ever heard.
Speaking of, does that sound like someone you know? ]
[ ooc; Phase two! YOU MAY NOW TAG THIS POST WITH 4TH WALL ZOMBIES. Of course, feel free to continue threading in the mansion post! However, this post marks the beginning of the city phase. ]

There is one thing I know that is always true, Beatrice.
No matter how complete the horror, there is something that exists that can be worse. It doesn't have to 'measure up.' It can be a completely different brand of terror and torture.
Or it can recreate what you encountered.

I could have said in red that there was nothing worse than Angels before Hakuba and I ran into that alley.
...though it does make me wonder...what you could have possibly encountered to admit something like that.

...
Something from home I have reason to fear very much. I won't go much further than that.

He threw me and was too slow to get to the ladder. [Closes his eyes, clenching his hands and teeth.]
...Trapped between monster and Angel. Even as he breathed, he was already dead and there was nothing I could do. No matter how smart or clever I was...a problem I absolutely couldn't solve except to give up and close my eyes...

...
Logic error.

[Something terrifying for the Game Master. Getting trapped in their own logic, where any answer was not an option and it trapped one's soul there. A terrifying prospect, to never find a solution.]
...
[And he doesn't say anything, letting go of Beato's hand...and instead choosing to hug her. Even if it was just her legs.]

[He doesn't consider what he did as a solution and he never will.]
[And after a few moments, he steps away.]

... hnn. A map.

You found one? [Will come look at it!]

This city is a lot larger than I had assumed.

[Pauses as he looks at the map.] ...I keep doubling back to the Mansion.

[ Said sharply. ]

[Points at a place in the map.] We were on this street, so even with a generic name, this is the restaurant we're at. [Trails his finger down the way they came.] Here's how we got here. [Then goes down another road.] We needed to go this way instead because City Hall is right outside the Mansion grounds, here. [Points there.]
And just down this street, a weapons shop. [And points there.] So at some point, we're going near the Mansion, even if we stick mostly to the opposite road depending on where doors are.
Wish I had my skateboard. Would be a lot faster and probably safer that way...

If everyone is appearing in the Mansion, it means that's going to be the zombies 'biggest' source of food. With the numbers we saw heading there already...it's gonna be a dangerous run.

And we can't even try by rooftop. The streets would be too wide.
