[There's a ~~not~~little boy standing outside the Labyrinth. He seems to be seriously debating whether or not to go in.]

If I keep my hand on one wall, I should be able to make my way out, even if I lose track somehow. And if there's dangers, I should be able to handle it. How bad can a maze be? Not like a large predator would be able to find all it's food in there unless there's a lot of animals...

And there's my point. I can accurately kick something a fair distance away and if I can't, I can just kick the person. And I have the dart and soccer ball belt if I can't reach my shoes in time.

Yes. More frequently. Hattori gets more legit cases, ones he's actually hired for. I just happen to be with...well, anytime I'm with someone for a special trip or even a mundane trip, something happens and there's a murder, a kidnapping, a robbery...you name the crime, I've seen it on just chance.

And yes, the murderers have tried to kill me. No, Ran doesn't always come in for the last minute save. So, yes, I know I can defend myself and I'm prepared to do it, so unless there's some ninja in there waiting to jump on people who come in, the chances of the maze being my downfall are slim.

Usually the times I actually get hurt is when I know someone's probably around and don't actually think they might be a threat. [The poison, the time he got shot, not paying attention to that deranged psycho though he was being led away so that was an honest mistake.]
