[There's a ~~not~~little boy standing outside the Labyrinth. He seems to be seriously debating whether or not to go in.]

If I keep my hand on one wall, I should be able to make my way out, even if I lose track somehow. And if there's dangers, I should be able to handle it. How bad can a maze be? Not like a large predator would be able to find all it's food in there unless there's a lot of animals...

[He's mostly talking to himself in this debate. He hasn't really talked to anyone that day. Too bad or he might have realized what's going on.]

I'm looking for clues. There's secrets behind this island. If there was an access to it somewhere on the island itself, then it's going to be a hard to find place.

Isn't a maze the best place for that? [Pulls out a notebook and is making notes in it for which way they're going.]

... *nods* Believe me, I've been looking for secrets to the "truth" behind this island myself. With my investigation team down only to me, my search for it has only gotten harder.

... *and noticing that* Um... Are you a detective? You certainly give off that vibe.

Investigation Team? [Looks at Souji again.] Are you a high school detective too?

Yes. [Pauses. Well, he didn't mean to be that straight forward, but he gives the reasoning for it not to be so weird.] I live with a famous detective, and my friends and are a detective group. [Smiles. And really, none of that was a lie.]

Hm? Yeah, I am. Although... you're in high school yourself? *thinking you're a genius kid*

I see... You'd have to meet a friend of mine. I think you two would really get along well.

I-is she? Don't hear a lot of girl teenage detectives.

You really don't. But I'm sure they're out there.

Ah, by the way. What have you written down so far?

Of course they exist. Just not as many. Not sure why, actually... [He'd seen more than enough deductive power from plenty of girls, but it was always the guys people heard about.]

Maybe they're forming a secret organization and plan on overpowering the males? *and he's only joking here*
