[ A Zack is leaning against a newly-completed stable with two chocobos in it. ]

Well, I guess I wasn't gone long enough to let you guys go hungry. That's good to know... probably was only a couple days in this place's time. No one had to worry about me being gone or anything, so that's good too.

... [ Realizing he's talking to his chocobos. Doesn't know what's worse; The fact that he's doing it or that he doesn't really mind. ]

Oh well. Time to get back in the swing of things and-- yeah. There's a lot left to do here, isn't there?

Remember when we met, and I told you that you remind me of someone that I really missed...?

It was good! I got to tell him how I felt and I got to be his girlfriend even if it was just for a day.

[nods!] Mm! I still think of him and miss him now and then, but I don't feel sad anymore, because I've told him everything I had to say.

It wouldn't be silly of me to keep writing to him though, right...? I don't really send letters out or anything, but it feels sort of like I'm talking to him when I write in my diary lately... Is that weird?

It's the thought that counts, right? I'm sure he wouldn't mind that.

R-Right! He'd like knowing that I'm doing well anyway, and I like writing like I'm talking to him, even if he doesn't write back.
