. . . And I will admit, my curiosity's been piqued ever since this place showed up. Mind you, my curiosity has always been extremely reckless and a tad silly, so there's every possibility it's being that way now.

Were you here last year when the house appeared?

Ah, not this particular house. I somehow managed to miss the fun. I was around when that uninviting little hut appeared -- although I'm not entirely sure if I can expect this place to pull the same punches.

I take it the place is most likely as sinister as it looks, though?

Oh... That hut... that felt worse than this house actually.

The only thing you can expect from the haunted house is to expect that it will throw anything at you to scare you silly.

Not entirely empty-handed, actually. I've got my wits and quick-reflexes to rely on -- they're rather dependable in a crisis, I think. C'mon, then. Let's see who's home. [flashes a bright smile before heading off towards the front door]

[and following after you] I-I'll do my best to be careful! And if we do get in trouble, I'll try to be useful too!

Hopefully we've got nothing to worry about and nothing too bad will happen, but I don't expect that's the case. Just do your best, and I'll do my best -- that's all anyone can really ask for.

Yes -- this place doesn't exactly give you a warm, fuzzy feeling, does it? Still! Nothing too weird first few seconds in, that's a good sign.

[walking in a few more steps, but stops clutching her head]

[he turns from inspecting some creepy painting on the wall, looking concerned] You alright there, Sumire?

Just a little overwhelmed that's all. Places like these tend to do that when there's a strong presence of the unnatural. I've got a really strong sixth sense you see.

[and right on cue, the front door slams shut]
