... you know, I really couldn't help but notice.

It's pretty hot and no one really does much at the beach here. Like go into the water or get tans or other... beach things. I know this isn't the most normal tropical island, but really? I'm pretty sure most of the people here are creative enough to find ways around the whole swimsuit problem.

Not like it really matters much to me. I'm not that big on the whole swimming thing.

Yeah, I see your point kid. But the other folks are probably too worried on trying to get dinner on their plate and trying to find a way off somehow... kinda hard to see why anyone wouldn't want to take advantage of what's here for us already to enjoy.

To be quite honest, I think the majority of the people here have given up trying to find a way off and are just waiting for the island to send them home.

Some probably don't even want to go home.

I guess you can count me in on the latter part, this place is a lot more interesting and fun compared to things over at home. But yeah, back to the other topic, I dunno why everyone else wouldn't go and have fun. Maybe we got modest people living here too.

Maybe. But you know that there are others who would be trying to make the most of it.

If there are any here, it'd be the first time I'd ever see them kid! Well first time seeing a group of them, I met a girl who was pretty excited on being here on her first arrival.

Aha, the excited arrivals... Well, people tend to make good use of the hot springs.

That and just getting a load on the jungle life. It's pretty refreshing to see some people with a bit of adventure streak inside them.

I'm just relaxing here, I have enough adventure back home.

Oh yes. Compared to the wild animals at the rest of the island.

You're right though, it is a shame we don't enjoy the beach more.

Well, like I said, it doesn't really hurt me.

I'm all for beach fun. Except swimming.

We agree on something then.

Maybe volleyball or burying someone in the sand. There's plenty of other stuff to do besides swimming, so I don't get why everyone suddenly decides you can only swim at the beach.

I usually just sleep-- I was actually doing that today at the beach when I noticed it.
