HAHA I forgot too so I guess Nanjo is kind of forgettable. :(

Every adult in that family is cruel if it fits their means.

I don't really have an explanation for that. Genji is Kinzo's most trusted servant. Kanon and Shannon come from an orphanage that Kinzo has personally sponsored for years-- many servants come from there to work for the Ushiromiya family. Perhaps Kumasawa never earned his favor?
