I never said there was an inorganic rose. The rose doesn't have to be inorganic. What is inorganic is if the rose was truly wilted. You just have to make it look wilted.
One idea is flash paper. Since it's thin and light, all you have to do is color it it to look like the rose. Then add a chemical that could produce a golden color. All it takes is a spark that the butterfly sets off and the flash paper goes up in a flash. It goes up so fast, it wouldn't even damage the rose and then it looks good as new.
